Carole Haxton
Psychological Therapist
“I am a kind, empathetic and creative practitioner with a passion for supporting young people to manage the challenges of modern-day life. I have a strong belief that supporting young people to learn and develop their own skills to deal with emotions, thoughts and behaviours in a fun and healthy way supports positive mental health. This can be done through learning techniques to help them manage anxiety, low self-esteem and building confidence”.
I have a background of working with both children, adolescents and adults in the capacity of mental health nursing and as a psychological therapist.
I trained as a Relax Kids coach in 2017 and I am looking forward to running classes again and watching young people blossom. The Relax kids programme is a seven-step programme teaching children to relax, manage emotions and build lifelong confidence. The mission of Relax Kids is to give children and young people the tools they need to manage stress and anxiety and to be resourceful when facing the challenges of daily life.
