Dr Clodagh Doyle
Clinical Psychologist
“I am a compassionate and collaborative Clinical Psychologist, committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I recognise the courage it takes to come to therapy, and I aim to work alongside clients in a way that feels empowering, validating, and tailored to their unique journey. My work is guided by the belief that people do the best they can with the resources they have, and that therapy can support the development of new ways of relating to oneself and others.“
I place human connection at the heart of my work. I believe that lasting change is most likely when people feel genuinely seen and supported. I strive to offer a space where everyone feels welcome, valued, and able to explore their thoughts and emotions openly, at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
In addition to my clinical training, I am a Yoga Alliance–accredited teacher and sometimes bring gentle mindfulness and body-based practices into sessions. These techniques support the mind-body connection, helping clients develop awareness, calm, and emotional regulation alongside evidence-based psychological therapy.
I am a warm, compassionate, and collaborative therapist. I understand that seeking therapy or undergoing a neurodiversity assessment can feel daunting. My goal is to help clients feel at ease and supported as they take the brave steps to improve their well-being. Having experienced my own psychological trauma reaction, I deeply understand the profound impact mental health difficulties can have, both personally and across society, especially when coupled with neurodiversity.
Clinical Experience
I have a range of experience working across the lifespan with people facing various mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficulties related to self-esteem and emotional regulation. I also work within the NHS in a child and adolescent mental health service and work with a broad range of mental health and psychological difficulties.
My previous roles have included working across different NHS services including a specialist forensic service supporting individuals with complex and varied presentations. These roles have strengthened my ability to work thoughtfully with complexity, risk, and uncertainty, while maintaining a compassionate and person-centred approach. I am passionate about trauma-informed practice and bring this lens into my therapeutic work by prioritising safety, trust, and collaboration. I aim to work in ways that respect individual boundaries, support autonomy, and recognise the impact of life experiences on wellbeing.
