Dr Kate Costello
Clinical Psychologist
“As a therapist, I am deeply committed to building safe, trusting, and positive relationships with the people I work with. I take a non-judgemental and empathetic approach and am passionate about supporting children, young people, and adults. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and paced in a way that is comfortable for each individual. Using evidence-based therapies, my goal is to help you make sense of your experiences and navigate the mental health challenges you are facing, tailoring support to your needs”.
I have over 10 years of experience working in the field of psychology supporting individuals across the lifespan in children and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) and adult mental health services. My work has included supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, as well as those who have spent time in foster care. In addition to my role at Shore Psychology, I continue to work in the NHS supporting adults with PTSD, complex PTSD, and other diverse mental health difficulties
