“I understand that when you’re feeling down, stuck, or desperate for things to change, but unsure how to make it happen, reaching out for support and advice can be daunting. I aim to provide an empathetic, non-judgemental and supportive environment, embodying a person-centred approach, so that therapy can feel relaxed instead of overwhelming. My approach is collaborative, bringing together your choices and experiences with my psychological knowledge, to help guide you forward, providing you with the skills, psychoeducation, and techniques to help you reach your goals“.
I have worked within the NHS for over 3 years, supporting clients within a substance use setting with a diverse range of presenting concerns, including but not limited to trauma, low self esteem, and emotion regulation difficulties. During this time, I have also worked in a private practice setting, mostly focused on providing couples therapy.
