Dr Suzie Black

Clinical Psychologist

I have worked in the NHS mental health services for over 20 years.  I have experience of working across a range of settings including community mental health teams and justice services.  As well as providing individual and group therapy, my current role within in NHS involves me managing and supervising a team of Clinical Psychologists and providing training and consultancy to multidisciplinary colleagues.  Throughout my career I have specialised in working with people who have been impacted by trauma and adversity.   I have personal experience of managing and then recovering from a long- term health condition and as a result have developed a passion for understanding the link between our minds and bodies.
