Hanna Munro
Specialist Occupational Therapist
“I am a gentle sensitive therapist and I am highly enthusiastic and passionate about my work. Being neurodivergent and the mum of neurodivergent children, one with significant support needs and one who struggles to attend school, means I support other families with more compassion and a deeper level of understanding. My goal is to enable families to better understand their child’s sensory needs and to improve the wellbeing of the whole family. I do this by explaining what is going on for the child from a sensory perspective and suggesting small practical day to day changes both at home and at school to enable the child to be happier and more engaged in play, learning and daily life.“
I have over 17 years of experience as an occupational therapist. I have an internationally recognised certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration and my specialism is working with children and young people aged 2 – adult with autism, ADHD and sensory processing difficulties.
