“I am a kind, empathetic and creative practitioner with a passion for supporting young people to manage the challenges of modern-day life. I have a strong belief that supporting young people to learn and develop their own skills to deal with emotions, thoughts and behaviours in a fun and healthy way supports positive mental health. This can be done through learning techniques to help them manage anxiety, low self-esteem and building confidence”.Clinical Psychologist

I am an approachable and compassionate psychologist who values collaboration and understanding. I know that seeking an autism or ADHD assessment can feel daunting, and my aim is to make the process as reassuring and supportive as possible. Every assessment is tailored to you and your family members, and will focus on your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. I will work with you to make the process meaningful and relevant to you. I am passionate about helping people understand themselves in a way that makes them feel capable and supported.

I have a background of working with both children, adolescents and adults in the capacity of mental health nursing and as a psychological therapist.
I trained as a Relax Kids coach in 2017 and I am looking forward to running classes again and watching young people blossom. The Relax kids programme is a seven-step programme teaching children to relax, manage emotions and build lifelong confidence. The mission of Relax Kids is to give children and young people the tools they need to manage stress and anxiety and to be resourceful when facing the challenges of daily life.
In my NHS career I have experience assessing and supporting neurodivergent individuals of all ages. I also have experience working with young people and adults who have experience of trauma, mental health difficulties (such as anxiety and depression) and health-related difficulties, using a range of psychological approaches. I have specialist experience in autism and ADHD assessment.
In my role at Shore Psychology I use gold-standard tools and a neuro-affirming approach to assess Autism and ADHD and provide clear, thoughtful feedback and recommendations that genuinely fit each individual’s life. In addition to assessment, I can provide post-diagnostic support and autism-specific interventions to help clients apply recommendations in their everyday lives. I understand the importance of taking time to get a holistic view of each person’s unique story. My goal is for every client to leave an assessment feeling understood and empowered.
