Dr Adela Rodrigues
Clinical Psychologist
” I am passionate about working in ways that honour your worldview. I bring warmth and compassion into my work, as well as a flexible and creative approach to ensure your needs are met. I understand that starting therapy or going through a neurodiversity assessment can feel overwhelming, which is why my goal is to provide a safe space for us to explore and make sense of your experiences. I am keen to help you feel supported and empowered in your well-being journey.“
I have over 10 years of experience working in the NHS, working across the lifespan, supporting clients who have faced a number of mental health difficulties, from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and eating disorders. Alongside my role at Shore Psychology, I also work as a Senior Clinical Psychologist in an Adult Mental Health service within the NHS. I have a special interest in complex trauma, neurodivergence, and specifically in how this may present in women with high levels of masking. My own lived experience of trauma reactions has deepened my understanding of its impact on one’s mental and physical health.
