Dr Neelam Laxhman

Clinical Psychologist

I have over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges. In addition to my role at Shore Psychology, I work as a senior clinical psychologist in the NHS, providing community-based care for people with severe and enduring mental illnesses. My expertise spans specialist services, including trauma, psychosis, and bipolar disorder, enabling me to support clients facing complex and diverse mental health needs.

I also have experience working with young people aged 13 and over, prioritising the development of a trusting therapeutic relationship to create a safe and collaborative space, where young people feel heard and supported. I’m particularly passionate in supporting young people online, offering greater accessibility to therapy in a secure and familiar environment that is tailored to their unique needs.
