Dr Shannon Connolly
Clinical Psychologist
“ I understand that life is difficult for most of us at different points of life and am here to support you in navigating through these times. I am compassionate and warm with a gentle sense of humour. My goal is to provide non-judgmental, kind and helpful spaces where we work together to understand what is going on for you and agree how we will help you to find your way through it”.
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over ten years’ experience working across the lifespan, supporting children, young people, adults and families experiencing psychological distress. My work is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming, delivering evidence-based therapies that hold you at the centre in a compassionate way.
I have a special interest in supporting people with physical health concerns to be empowered to live life in line with what matters to them. I am also passionate about supporting parent’s wellbeing, as I know that while parenting is a rewarding journey it can also bring its own challenges. Currently, I work both within the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist in Paediatrics and here at Shore Psychology. My previous roles have included working in CAMHS and in adult clinical health settings also.
