Counselling Psychologist
- I understand how personal the process of seeking support can be, which is why I focus on building a safe, respectful relationship where challenges can be explored without judgement. My passion for therapy has grown through years of working across diverse mental health settings and witnessing the powerful transformation that occurs when people are met with warmth, respect, and evidence-based care. I’ve had the privilege of working across NHS services, charitable organisations, and private settings —experiences that have shaped a deep and well-rounded understanding of mental health care. My areas of interest include trauma, low self-esteem and ADHD. I began my clinical career in psychiatric inpatient units, supporting individuals living with severe and enduring mental health challenges. From there, I moved into more community-based roles, delivering therapy in GP surgeries, primary schools, and local wellbeing projects across Lothian.
